Post pandemic we have tried to re-build Ceroc Amsterdam. However we have not been able to provide you with weekly class nights, which we believe are essential to grow and stay in touch with our dancing community. As of last June, we did offer monthly freestyles, and we had hoped that we would see our regulars return to the dance floor. Unfortunately the number of dancers required to cover the costs of organising these events were insufficient.
We therefore regretfully have to inform you that we have cancelled all planned Ceroc Amsterdam events for the foreseeable future. We will try again once we have another qualified Ceroc teacher, whom can provide weekly Ceroc classes in Amsterdam and of course we will let you know as soon as we can.
However, this is not the end of Ceroc Social Dancing in the Netherlands!
We are very excited about Ceroc Leiden.
Since early January, Ania & Xavier offer weekly class nights on Friday evenings in the University Sports Centre Leiden. They already have a nice balanced mix of regular beginners and experience dancers. You can attend their class for less than €8 or even for free the first time. The class is taught in a beautiful dance studio and the social gathering afterwards, in the Sports Bar, often goes on until midnight. All in all, a great way to start your weekend. USC Leiden has a small free parking and is only a few bus stops from Leiden Central Station.
In the near future we are looking to offer a monthly Sunday afternoon freestyle/tea dance in Leiden. The search for a nice suitable venue in Leiden has already started and if you know of a place, that you would like to dance in, then please share it with us.
Free Ceroc Escape UK Dance weekender
This is an amazing deal! Free accommodation and entrance for first timers or 50% off if you have been before. Ceroc Escape UK Dance Weekenders are among the largest dance events on the planet, with often in excess of 2000 dancers attending. Join the Ceroc Netherlands Team members on their trip to Camber Sands from 10-13 March 2023. This is the place to be if you are a beginner and want to learn to dance Ceroc in one weekend. Whilst like the intermediate and advance dancers you will love the workshops, parties, entertainment and of course hours of freestyle.
The accommodation is self catering for 3 nights, based on two sharing a two bedroom chalet and includes free entrance to all workshops, freestyles and entertainment.
